The Halaal certification process is a step by step approach that considers all Shari’ah related aspects of product or service delivery. The certification is not a one-off event, but a continuous adherence to set guidelines. For this purpose monitoring is done by conducting continuos & periodic audits of certified organisations.

By end 2010, nearly 145 organizations attained certification for more than 4000 products from small, medium to large scale companies. A noteworthy achievement is the fact that most of the certified companies are owned by Non-Muslims, which shows the universal acceptance of the benefits of Halaal certification.
